My name is Andrew Lewis. I am studying for a PhD at the Cambridge University Computer Laboratory in multimedia security and digital forensics.
My main interests in computing include
- video and image tampering detection and characterisation (forensics);
- digital signal processing and image processing;
- video and image compression (see my Part II project and Google Summer of Code project);
- security (I used to run the lab's security seminar series);
- free software and intellectual property;
- programming languages and algorithms; and
- graphics, design for usability and typography.
